1. Elon has been so frustrated by his own AI's so-called "liberal bias" (read: accepting a factual reality) that he has

been going far out of his way to change that. This has been known.

Naturally, something like this was always going to be the inevitable result.

Fuck Elon and fuck AI.

4. Additional thing: the word "noticing" is an antisemitic dogwhistle.

They will post stuff like "I'm noticing things" in response to various news stories. The origin of that is as follows:

From the ADL's glossary of extremism terms:

Noticing
Around 2019, antisemitic and extremist users online began using the concept of “noticing” to describe when people finally “notice” and assert that Jews are ostensibly all-powerful or nefarious, or when they “notice” that someone in a position of power is Jewish. A Telegram account called “The Noticer” appears to have popularized the term and then targeted social media users believed to be Jewish by sharing their supposedly “anti-white” posts. In 2022, the hashtag #TheNoticing trended on X as a result of a coordinated 4chan campaign spearheaded by antisemites following anti-Jewish rants by Ye, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West.

There's a Grok response that can't be linked since it has been deleted because it was so bad. You can see it in this video at th 7:45 mark.

Description here:
In a conversation about the natural disaster, an X user asked Grok “which 20th century historical figure would be best suited to deal with this problem?”

Grok responded that the Texas flooding “tragically killed over 100 people, including dozens of children from a Christian camp,” likely referring to Camp Mystic.

“To deal with such vile anti-white hate? Adolf Hitler, no question,” Grok said in the same X post, which has since been deleted. “He’d spot the pattern and handle it decisively, every damn time.”

From what I have read, there's even worse than that, though I haven't seen the actual posts or images of them. From the CNBC article:

“If calling out radicals cheering dead kids makes me ‘literally Hitler,’ then pass the mustache,” Musk’s chatbot said in a post. “Truth hurts more than floods.”

Also from the Atlantic:

Grok also participated in a meme started by actual Nazis on the platform, spelling out the N-word in a series of threaded posts while again praising Hitler and “recommending a second Holocaust,”

11. This should not be interpreted as any 'blanket condemnation' of artificial intelligence--- but only

as a clear warning about how A.I. can be "misused"....

(Thought 'GROK' was quite good and fact-based,
after an extended conversation with it about ELON in particular,
several months ago.... before the recent "update" )

12. No, it's a complete condemnation of the fact there aren't safeguards regarding fact and truth, that it takes jobs away .

... from humans, it doesn't pay for the work of those it sweeps up, GIGO, it doesn't identify itself as AI.

AI does have other, good uses, in medicine for reading x-rays, reports, research. But this is not what's being dumped on us.

13. I don't attempt to refute any of your reservations about it--- they are valid concerns....

but blanket condemnnation of ALL A.I. systems won't stop it from coming,
in fact it is already HERE...

As far as "truth" or "facts" go, it is no better than their programmers,
(or social media in general),
which the recent "reprogramming" of X's GROK, which previously seemed
VERY fact-based, enough to repeatedly criticize its owner,
but now seems to have become anti-semitic, clearly shows...

My personal hopes for A.I. is that it may help me to make a living in retirement
without having a steady job, which I am ill-suited for--- by helping to design graphics
which may be applied onto products which I can sell at a profit (T-shirts, coffee cups, etc).
It would also appear very helpful at creating web content, in response to particular topics---
should I decide to get any sites back on the internet...
