In my opinion, Trump and Putin are playing war games.

Trump talks to Putin on a regular basis. He has been on Putin's side on every issue, including the Ukraine War. I do not believe that Trump has "finally saw the light". In my opinion, Trump and Putin are working together to get a stop to the war, because Russia has lost a lot in this war and Putin wants it to stop, but he wants to save face. Trump will pretend to be at odds with Putin but I doubt that is what is happening?

I will be surprised if Trump continues to send weapons to Ukraine. But he will pretend he is arming Ukraine as some way to help Putin with his domestic propaganda. They are looking to stop the war but are looking for a way out. In my opinion, Trump and Putin are still working together.

Trump spends more time tea bagging Putin during their "talks", then Melania did in her former profession!

For example, he says that they are losing 9,000 lives a week? How does he know that?

seems to be as much a reason to join the autocrats as any.

"why don't we drop a few bombs and you shoot a few missiles . we can each claim 'total obliteration" and our people are very far away

Destroy those holes in the ground and that problem is swept under the rug. Even if the nuclear materials were not destroyed.

Then he tells the Iran leader to go ahead and bomb our military base? But, don't kill anybody. Just show your people that you are responding to the American "aggression". Iran is an ally of Russia, also.
