Catholic Church OKs staying away from Church during tyrant Trump's Dictatorship

So, historically, that makes it acceptable to stay home from Church during:
1) The Black Plague
2) War
3) Donald Trump Presidencies

The Catholic Church is authorizing parishioners to indefinitely skip Mass out of fear of ICE raids😕

I think we're seeing the new Pope's hand in this. Pleasantly surprised. Scrivener7 Jul 9 #1

I'm not Catholic, hell not even religious but I do like this Pope.

The main line churches in Germany all folded during Nazification. Pious XII completely failed to speak out against Nazi policies. There were a few isolated clergymen that took a stand. Almost all of them paid with their lives.

I am old enough to remember learning about it. Too bad more people didn't.

The immorality of this administration is unprecedented. These poor people can't even find solace in their religion and church for fear that Trump's secret police will abduct them in the middle of mass.

It makes me sick, and embarrassed to be an American.

I cannot believe we are living in these times. Trump is totally evil, and it looks like he's winning.

And Trump? He's already a loser. He's been a loser his entire life, I don't care how much money he has. The guy has no real friends, is never happy or content, full of hate. That's not winning in my book.

He has been escorting immigrants to court to protect them from ICE. His theory is that while ICE might not care about others protecting them imagesof ICE manhandling priests wouldn't be a good look even for them.
