This phony Trump-Putin feud...plausible deniability for Trump as Russia abuses Ukraine...

I’ll keep this simple. Yes, it is phony, a mere Kabuki dance to give Trump cover for his sycophancy toward Putin in general, and specifically, for the utter hostility he has shown toward Ukraine for the entirety of this war until his very recent “warming” toward them. Trump knows he is vulnerable if Russia continues to make progress, which he wants to happen and expects to happen, but he does not want to be blamed for assisting Putin and Russia.

So he and Putin are playing a game together, gas lighting the American public with these phony Trump protestations about Russia’s tactics against Ukraine, all the while holding back weaponry from Ukraine, then sending some (but not enough), while Russia continues to make daily progress. This will continue to happen back and forth until Putin gets what he wants. Trump will continue to give some help to Ukraine, then stop for a while, then start again, on and on, all the while allowing Russia to strengthen its position while giving Trump plausible deniability.

For this to now be real we would have to believe that Trump’s extreme hostility shown toward Ukraine and Zelenskyy over and over again was not in reality that strong or that it has been “cured” by events since Trump and Vance abused Zelenskyy in the Oval office. It only takes a modicum of common sense to see how implausible that is.

Trump has been, is, and will continue to be in Putin’s back pocket due to whatever Putin has on Trump that is causing Trump to be a traitor to this country. If you think otherwise, then you are gas lighting yourself.
