First, yeah it's a Lada. Lada - not American. That Lada - not great (not even good, not even...bleh). It's the perfect mistaken backdrop for that whole GOP/car statement.

One good thing to mention about this particular platform of Lada, is they make for great educational videos for new, aspiring drivers. Just look for Russian dashcam crash videos on YouTube. If anything might convince a driver to pay better attention on the roads, it's watching these shitboxes go full disintegration/accordion when hit.
