It's TIME for Every Blue state that can to gerrymander every Republican out possible

If we do this, we will win because overall, we have the population to do it. Frame it as an end to Trump like Newsom is and it’s a no-brainer. We’ve been playing by rules when the other side has ignored them and this is why we can’t keep a majority in the House. Enough! Time to play by the game that’s being played: war. That’s what this is.

We should go even further and test how electoral college reps can be sent. Forget about elections. Send delegates chosen by the party in power. Fuck it. It’s time to fuck every conservative over. Conservative business in a blue state? Punish them. Conservative churches in a blue state? Revoke their tax free status in the state. Deregister conservative voters from the rolls. We need to get ahead of their tactics and show them how an authoritative state can really punish them.

1. I think the problem is that there are more red states

and purple states where Rs are in control. We really need to get serious at the local level, like Rs have been doing for decades.

2. House membership is supposed to be driven by population

We have the numbers to overwhelm them. They’ll keep the senate, but no way they keep the house. See the link in my OP. We can easily maintain a ten seat majority if all blue states do what they can here.

4. Got to start with matching and surpassing republican gerrymandering

I think there are more potential Democratic Congressional seats although fewer Blue States much bigger population.

After the 30's we didn't lose the Congress until the 90s. Part of that was a natural shift, but we didn't offset the trends by gerrymandering to the extant republicans do now. As a result I think we let Democratic culture in States erode which bled off it to States houses. We do got to get serious about local races, but we got to do a bunch of other stuff. The Chuck Schumer's or even the Bernie Sanders of the world can lead us through this. Democrats need to find their inner Huey Long and be just as ruthless and vindictive as the republicans are.

Saw a clip about a week ago wherein DNC chairman Ken Martin spoke of bringing knives to a knife fight instead of pencils. An admirable notion and one LONG overdue, so kudos to him for that.

(Though in MY opinion, it happens to be a GUNfight, and has been a gunfight for quite some time.)

3. That link you put up is faulty, as PA, MN, and WI are not Blue Trifecta States

Those 20 Rethug US House seats cannot be gerrymandered away, so the maths are incorrect.

They've already done this as much as possible in Massachusetts, where none of the House Reps are Rethugs.

MA - none
VT - none
NH - none
ME - none
RI - none
CT - none

ME-2 is by far the riskiest one for us:

"Conservative business in a blue state? Punish them."

Don't they employ a lot of progressives and support the state with taxes? You would rather they all close up and move to red states?

7. Neither side can realistically gerrymander away all of the other party in most states

Take NC, which for the purposes of this, is a red state as the governor has no role whatsoever in redistricting. Currently we are 10 to 4 in favor of the GOP. But the GOP can't get all four of those seats. Three of them are Democratic vote sinks (plus 17, plus 23, and plus 24). The plus 23 is also a VRA district meaning its removal would trigger a lawsuit and possible injunction. They could target the other district which is R plus 1. But it is also a vestige VRA district and is actually currently the subject of a suit now. A redrawing could well trigger an injunction. Illinois is similar from our perspective. The three districts are all plus double digit GOP and surrounded by districts which are plus single digit Dem.

11. No need to gerrymander if you cancel elections and remove conservative voters like the OP is advocating
