They’ll just have to take up drinking that rooski tater juice instead of whatever swill they’ve been guzzling.

I grew up near a city with a distillery that produced a wide range of products which never made their way to the top shelf. ‘Vodka’ had distinctly chemical notes - as though it was infused like gin, but nothing herbal or floral about their swill. In reality, Russian state vodka is probably better than the lighter-fluid-tasting stuff they’re probably still making.

I’ve been trying some of our locally made product. A vodka distilled at the old Olympia beer brewery is excellent. Smooth and almost tasteless. A vodka from Bainbridge Island, however, was awful. Oven cleaner, or your lighter fluid, for example, would have been an improvement.

One of their products you may know is a ‘bourbon’ named Yellowstone. To be fair, I’ve heard that it’s improved after going through a succession of ownership.

It’s warm, smooth, sweet, and with a cinnamon-y finish. Plus, I keep my booze money here in Washington State, and out of the red states.

than we give the GOP credit for. How long have rubles been trickling into GOP coffers? I seem to recall some Congress members faced such questions almost 20 years ago.

As I recall, Russia gave large amounts of money to the NRA. The NRA then passed money on the Naz...er, Republicans.

So, you see? Russian gave nothing to Republicans.
