Next Time People Complain Socialized Medicine Countries

have too long waiting lists getting into the doctor I am going to have a question for them. When was the last time they tried to get into a specialist or get a MRI or Catscan? Some of my sister's friends are suspected of having some very serious medical conditions that need specialized treatment and medical tests. They are still having to wait at least a couple of months.

My ears have been filled with pressure since mid-June. While I have been in to my Primary Care and Urgent Care a few times nothing they tried has worked including two courses of Prednisone,a round of antibiotics, allergy meds, and nasal spray. I called the ENT mid July. They said the soonest they could get me in, was August 28. In the meantime I have developed Tintinitus in my left ear, and lost some hearing ability. My PCP was on vacation this week, and the Doc covering for him only had one slot left open that I couldn't make. Finally the receptionist at PCP told me to call everyday into the ENT asking if they had a cancelation. I asked if it would carry more weight if someone from their office called the ENT. She said the specialists don't care what our PCPs say anymore. We used to have pull with them and the Emergency Departments ten years ago but not now.

I finally got the ENT to move my appointment up to next Friday, but I have to go to his Rochester office instead of my local one. I just pray I don't loose more hearing in the meantime, or end up with a secondary illness 🙏.

So I really don't want to have someone say to me how quickly you can access health care in the U.S. ERs and Urgent Cares are short staffed. Hospitals and Nursing Homes are going to close because of TSF, and it's only going to get worse because they will probably deport foreign born doctors, and refuse to let new ones in. Plus since the government is likely to also gut student loans not many new doctors will be graduating any time soon.

So the Magats can shove their arguments about the U.S. Health System being so superior to socialized medicine countries up their dumb asses.

So he can be closer to us. He is in palitive care for his cancer. It took me two months to get an appointment with a primary care physician. I have to do that first in order to get referrals to an oncologist and a pain management. So yeah tell me about the wait times.

That's just wrong that you have to wait to get him the care he needs. Things never used to be this bad.

I think that is common right-wing propaganda in the US. They just lie.
Widespread Coordinated lying is propaganda.
