Haven't seen much discussion on this great news - Israeli protests

Great to see so many take to the streets. I feel for these folks, we are basically brothers in arms.

“Life comes before revenge,” Rudy Chen, the father of Itay Chen, an Israeli American soldier who was killed on Oct. 7, 2023, told NBC News.

The nationwide marches were on the same day as a general strike called by organizations representing relatives of those still in captivity. One of those groups, the Hostages and Missing Families Forum, said in a statement that nearly 1 million people had attended rallies nationwide.

One thing that broke my heart is the report of protestors who were pleading for Trump to "force" Netanyahu to "seal the deal" with Hamas.

Tragically, I think we know there will be no help from the 47 regime. On the contrary, the 47 regime is pulling out all the stops to suppress any manifestation of the good will of the American people as a force for progress here, or abroad.

Ultimately, just as it is up to Americans to stop the 47 regime, it is up to Israelis to stop Netanyahu's.

We CAN bend the arc of history toward progress. Too slowly for those who have fallen victim to the insanity. But that doesn't mean that we throw up our hands. Morality driven by compassion is a pretty powerful force too.
