The family members of a prominent survivor of Jeffrey Epstein's sexual abuse said they were “outraged” by the Justice Department’s decision to release transcripts from Ghislaine Maxwell's testimony last month to a federal prosecutor, arguing it provided Maxwell a “platform to rewrite history."

“The content of these transcripts is in direct contradiction with felon Ghislaine Maxwell’s conviction for child sex trafficking,” the family of Virginia Roberts Giuffre said in a statement. The family added, “This travesty of justice entirely invalidates the experiences of the many brave survivors who put their safety, security, and lives on the line to ensure her conviction, including our sister” ...

Giuffre accused Maxwell of grooming her to be sexually abused by Epstein and trafficked to several of his powerful friends, including Prince Andrew, Duke of York. Giuffre separately sued Andrew in 2021 for sexually abusing her as a minor, an allegation he has denied. The two later settled the case for an undisclosed amount in 2022 ...

"During [Deputy Attorney General] Todd Blanche’s bizarre interview, she is never challenged about her court-proven lies, providing her a platform to rewrite history," the family statement read ...

Rep. Summer Lee, D-Pa., in a statement on Saturday criticized the release of the first trove of documents related to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein as incomplete and predominately “recycled content already made available to the public.”

Lee, a member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, last month filed the motion to compel President Donald Trump’s Justice Department to release files related to Epstein ...

... Lee said Saturday that just three percent of the 33,295 pages of documents turned over to Congress contained new information, according to Oversight Committee Democrats’ initial review.

“The remaining 97% of pages included information previously released by the Department of Justice, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement or the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s office,” Lee said in the statement ...

Maxwell says . . . it wasn't so bad, no grooming, just being sociable.
No Princes or important people visited the island, all normal, nothing to see here.
Any hanky-panky happened behind closed doors, so I wouldn't know.

Whitewash by any other name.

Next minnit . . . Jeffrey gets a posthumous pardon, Maxwell gets released, Trump smiles, Prince Andrew and a lot of others breathe a sigh of relief.
Trump gets a few 'well done!' cards in the mail. Unsigned, but he will know who they are from.
