My apprehension towards Midterms 2026

If TSF dies before that election, I'm concerned that there will be a greater number of MAGA voters who come out to show their support for him posthumously and vicariously.

If he has to die, let it be any time after the 2026 election.

I'll take a sudden vitality autocorrection at any point.

I understand your apprehension (which is the perfect word to use), but I think any votes he get will be countered by the energetic votes of anti-Trump folks that are eager to break the regime once its leader is breathing dirt

If so, there wouldn't be a single, clear choice of candidates for MAGA's to rally behind.

There will be a sitting Republican president, eligible for one full term, who seems to be bff with the Trump family and the cabinet members who control armies. As to what a Trump death would do, IMO it creates a clear pathway for Donald Jr to be appointed VP.

There will be many backstabbing sycophants attacking each other in an attempt to take his place. It will be a total sh**show on that side for a cycle or two.

My fear is that he's going to send in the National Guard to poll watch in minority-majority districts under the guise of "election integrity" and making sure "illegals don't vote".
