Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

And the government in Washington is corrupt beyond recognition.

To listen to the leader of this country talk, however torturous, one would think the only thing that is important to the American people is "money". To listen to Trump talk, it is embarrassing and shameful the manner in which he portrays the American people before the world.

I am ashamed to call myself an American.

Congress, courts, universities, law firms, billionaires, corporations, etc etc.
They get up every day and kiss Trump's ass and throw him billions of dollars to keep him happy for the day.

And I’m too embarrassed to go overseas and let anyone know I’m American. Back in 2107-2019 I was in Europe and people would ask what happened to your country and I apologized profusely and was so ashamed. That I stopped saying I was from America and said I was from California instead.

But there's a big difference between the money needed to legally obtain food, clothing and shelter, maybe help a kid or two pay for college or trade school, and the money to buy freaking yachts and mansions. Only a small % are consumed with THAT kind of money.
