They still have Waffle House and Huddle House to keep them warm?

(33,283 posts)They don't have them where I live, so I can't judge all of them. But I was like, "I've never been to a Waffle House, but it's kinda sketchy".

(97,636 posts)That the few times that I went to one, back when I was a road warrior, it wasn't a bad place. I kind of like grits, one of the few places where you can get them.

(584 posts)When you really look at it, its mostly fear of change in any way. Apparently corporations have to stay stagnant and static. No one ever considered that branding itself changes over time, and many logos have changed over time for better or worse. And in terms of designs, the trend is to move away from images (think clip art), to something cleaner (supposedly).
Yes its ridiculous, but its (in broader terms), the flip side of getting worked up over a woman doing a jeans ad with a play on the word jeans (yes I get the whole blue eye blonde hair part with it).
As Obama would put it, its silly season. Im not going to bother siderism this, because with the jeans ad, there was no real outrage at first by the left, until the right manufactured a fake outrage. But still, I bring it up to illustrate how absurd the culture war has become. Its honestly just tiresome.
