(847 posts)These are evil, fascist people, and if you consider yourself a republican that makes you one as well. We are STILL beating around the fucking bush, and it is infuriating.
These are fascist policies? Why the fuck cant democrats grow a pair? Republicans are overthrowing the united states of america with the help of Putin. And until democrats say that over and over we are the stupid, weak people in this picture.

(1,946 posts)It's a fascist party. Completely and utterly. Anyone who still votes for them for any reason after the events of the last 10 years is enabling everything they do, whether they understand that or not. "Moderate" Republicans have been politically extinct since 2015 at the latest. They no longer exist in numbers anywhere near enough to be relevant to their own party, let alone decide the outcome of elections. It's a fool's errand to go chasing after unicorns and I have no idea why anyone still feeds that mythology.
The fact that the GQP wasn' invalidated or dissolved after 1/6/21 and the exposure of the fake electors plot is an indictment of the American system and an affront to American values as a whole.
At least, the values we used to pretend to have.

(10,260 posts)It's complicated. Maybe we should talk more about hermaphrodite/intersex individuals. Is there a rule? Or an exception to the rule?
"In humans, the term "hermaphrodite" is outdated and considered derogatory; the correct term is "intersex," which refers to individuals born with sex characteristics that do not fit typical binary notions of male or female bodies. Intersex conditions can involve variations in chromosomes, gonads, or genitals, and are extremely rare."
Their gotcha question never seems to get there.

(266 posts)You have to fast forward to about the 1 hour 42 minute mark. This is from the DNC summer meeting that is being held this week in Minneapolis. Watch his whole speech as its worth it!

(14,502 posts)So sick of the muzzling of good Democratic speakers with orders from the top down. Where we don't even bump the apple cart. Let alone dumping it over which is what we should be doing. Or we may upset someone. Some imaginary John and Jane Doe out there who are still stuck in some gentlemanly past somewhere who believe you just keep turning the cheek over and over and take it, and gob dang it, one day folks will see all the abuse you are taking and feel sorry for you and vote you in.
The world has changed. This is a war for survival now.
I remember how long it took to even use the word "lie" or "liar" in news rooms. But it shouldn't be any private news corps who raise the F word first, it should be the opposition party. That is what they SHOULD be doing over and over
