If the Union Dissolves...

In Buddhist philosophy, nothing is permanent, and when we cling to something, we suffer. Maybe the United States cannot continue to exist. Maybe it will split in two. If the US fractures, where will you go? Do you think your state would leave Trump's America? I'm visiting friends in Massachusetts right now, and they are ready to go. I think my state would fracture, but if put to a vote, we might go ...

Given the interconnectedness of the world we live in, could the East and West Coasts form one country?

Think about what that would involve, just militarily and financially.

Far more likely to be a Facist FUBAR, for at least the next few years, then clean up on aisle all of them for decades.

in Florida than in New York. Twice as many people in Texas voted for Harris/Walz than in Massachusetts. More people voted for Trump in California than in Arkansas, Louisiana, Alabama, Oklahoma, Kentucky, and Iowa put together.
I don't see how a geographical split between Democratic areas and Republican areas is possible unless you have walled off city states. Sometimes you can't just hack the cancer out.

And All citizens who do not support him.

So many Patriots i.e. liberals and Democrats refuse to exercise their second amendment right, so we will just be run over by the fascists just like some previous history we could all name.

6. A state (or states) cannot legally secede according to the Constitution.

We had a little dust up about this already.

As far as realpolitik goes, if someone is willing to toss the Constitution in the crapper and declare themselves independent, they better make sure they end up with the nuclear weapons, because whoever has them is going to be the winner in a fight against the side that doesn't.

9. I disagree, I believe you've confused Buddhist teachings

As you know, there's a Buddhist saying: “Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.”

In Buddhist thought, suffering arises when we continually recreate pain—trapping ourselves in mental loops, illusions, and the belief that we are separate from divine Truth.

Suffering is not the pain itself, but the mind’s insistence on clinging to it.

This framework, however, doesn’t neatly apply to systemic injustice or criminality—realities that exist beyond the confines of personal perception. These are not internal distortions; they are external assaults.

We are being slammed, punched, and kicked into submission. Bum-rushed daily by forces that seek to erase our dignity.

I am not “suffering.” I anticipated this. I see it clearly.
And I remain brave. I remain compassionate and joyful.

Regarding the dissolution of the Union—every empire falls or is reconfigured. This country is entering a period of profound socio-political transformation.
I’m rooting for Democracy 2.0.
I organize. I donate. I make calls, write letters, and show up at rallies. I show up for you. You show up for me.
