Just found some interesting figures on racial composition of the U.S. military

In the U.S. military as of late 2022/early 2023, approximately 31.2% to 31.6% of active-duty members identified as being part of a racial minority group, while about 17.4% to 18.4% identified as Hispanic or Latino. To find the percentage of non-white and Latino service members, you would add these figures, which is roughly 48.6% to 50% of active-duty military personnel."

And that's not figuring in the number of women.

Fuck you, Hegseth and your butt boy Miller.

If Hegseth ordered us to go back to racially segregated units. The better to isolate them elsewhere when Trump starts ordering the military to violently crack down on protests by minorities.

...that are separated in the report, i.e., you're adding race & ethnicity, which are separate.

We don't know where those categories may overlap, i.e., someone can identify as both black and Latino by race and ethnicity, respectively. And we know that some are identifying as white and Latino as well.

The point of the document is that we have a diverse military.
