Has America's vaunted Press Corpse asked President Biden about Trump's actions?

You know, like charging James Comey and Letitia James with felonies just because they actually opposed him as part of their official duties.

It'd be a good question, seeing how Trump now is preventing a college professor specializing in fighting fascism from traveling overseas.

but nothing about who may have done so, other than it was not them. And the family are apparently now booked on another flight. Not sure where you're getting that Trump is preventing them from leaving

When will it finally get the full attention of the press?

However, MSNBC is on top of this, particularly from 4 pm onward. Nicolle spent two hours today on the Authoritarian assaults on the Rule of Law. She and her participants treated it like the five alarm fire it is.

...the thing is, Trump is destroying the country so fast, on so many fronts and levels, from within and without, and looting the Treasury and putting the US taxpayer on the hook for his various treasons I need a supercomputer to keep up. That used to be the press' job -- the only enterprise, or business, actually mentioned by name in the Constitution.

First Amendment
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Today it's a question of reach, as well as freedom of speech. MSNBC's most popular show, Rachel Maddow, gets under a million views. Fox News, broadcasting largely over stations once aligned with CBS Network, has several million viewers. It didn't have to be this way, but the repeal of the Fairness Doctrine and various laws limiting media ownership serve the people who love to see their money grow no matter whose nation gets destroyed. And they now own almost all the major sources of news. Thank goodness for Bloomberg.

The First Amendment offers so much opportunity for protest signs:

Freedom of Speech
Freedom of the Press

"right of the people peaceably to assemble
and petition the Govt for a redress of grievances"

I keep going back to the Constitution for my signs.

ARTICLE 1 - Congress do your job!

Ken Burns was on MSNBC (w/ Nicolle) the other day. He had been at a luncheon earlier, where he was speaking with people - folks didn't know what Article 1 of the Constitution is. We need more Constitution talk!

He’s got health issues — you know, cancer. He was a good and wise public servant, and at the end got a kick in the teeth for thanks. And for the frosting on the crap cake, Project 2025 won the election and the country is falling to pieces.

A US citizen -- a Rutgers professor -- is prevented from travel in order to restrict his ability to communicate, as well as to increase the endanger to his personal safety and that of his family..

Asking President Biden would provide a contrast from the nonsense spewing out of Trump, ideas shot from the assholes of Stephen Miller and Steve Bannon.

“Yeah, uh, suspending who?”

Trump Goes Viral With 'Extremely Hilarious If Not So Extremely Dangerous' Habeas Corpus Answer

“President Non Compos Mentis has no idea what the writ of habeas corpus is,” conservative attorney George Conway mocked Donald Trump.

by Lee Moran
HuffPost, Oct 9, 2025

Donald Trump was asked at Wednesday’s White House roundtable that included far-right content creators ― and had Trump’s antifa bogeyman as the subject — if he’d “given any more thought to possibly suspending habeas corpus to not only deal with these insurrectionists across the nation but also to continue rapidly deporting illegal aliens.”

“Yeah, uh, suspending who?” the president replied.

The questioner repeated, “Uh, habeas corpus, sir.”

“Oh, I don’t know. I’d rather leave that to Kristi. What do you think?” Trump said, punting the question to Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.
