I think the ICE excessive violence is on purpose.

Trump’s team WANTS a violent uprising. Then he can declare martial law and all restrictions will be gone.

That’s how Hitler did it. He convinced the lawmakers to temporarily give him emergency powers then he never gave them back.
Trump has studied Hitler’s regime. It’s one of the few things he has actively studied. He kept a book of Hitlers speeches next to his bed.

So expect his goons to become more and more violent and repressive until the public explodes. Then Trump can grab the full dictatorship he drools for.
