1. Restaurant management takes a dim view on anyone that comes into a restaurant, ONLY to use the rest room. I don't think it is any different in South Dakota than anywhere else.

2.Restaurants also take a dim view of customers that have a history of causing trouble. It is all over the blogosphere that ICE disappears people, news crews get arrested as does local politicians, children are taken away in helicopter raids and a minister gets shot with a pepper ball. Why would any restaurant manager allow these thugs in their establishment?

Not saying I'm surprised generally when F47 and his minions violate the Constitution anymore, but all through my life, up until the last 6 months, I thought that one would be among the last to go. It's pretty central to the whole concept of democracy-not-monarchy which the framers were trying for, and we had pretty explicit laws against arbitrary domestic military deployment, so it seemed safe.

Well, here we are.

All that talk for years about how businesses had the right to refuse service to gay people due to religious beliefs all the sudden out the window and it’s “how dare they not serve us?!”
