Random thoughts...Walmart takes in 25 billion dollars a year from SNAP recipients.

I wonder who their board of directors will blame when the money stops rolling in on Nov. 1?

Donate a million (spare change) to the Dance Hall and get 30 billion in subsidies. From us, into their bank accounts, with poor still going with no food.
Jesus, let go of the wheel long ago. Is he getting a percentage of all the massive wealth?
At least break out the fish and bread, I could use some wine.

Whack off to YMCA will be a staple for the billionaires party palace.
They will make the bomb shelter big enough to get all those pigs to safety if shit comes down. You know, the best genes to repopulate MurKKKa. All white ones of course. They will need a whole of of preteen girls, and some boys cause ya know these are all repubs.
So that 300 million will get up to trillion quickly.
How long will tons of McDonald shit last down there?
Probably a while, it’s full of chemicals. But they just gotta keep Donny from eating it all in a week.
Maybe we can fake an attack, when they all get down there, “LocK Em Up” level the Hall and Cement it all over. Then we can start that gettin great again stuff.

Least the Walls could do it pay enough that employees don't have to rely on assistance programs. What they also could do is set up donations to local food banks to help get their employees and customers fed until the GOP gets off their asses and comes to the table to negotiate.

"In fiscal year 2024, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) served an average of 41.7 million people per month, or 12.3 percent of U.S. residents. The share of residents receiving SNAP benefits ranged from as high as 21.2 percent in New Mexico to as low as 4.8 percent in Utah. In 36 States, the share was between 8 and 16 percent." You can bet it's a lot higher now.

"Federal SNAP spending totaled $99.8 billion and benefits averaged $187.20 per participant per month."

So Walmart is on track to lose about 25% of that or $1.75 billion a month or $65 million a day. And they are perfectly fine with this? Why isn't Walmart filing suit with the govenors? Are they getting our tax dollars under the table to keep quiet?

To me, it looks like there's no one at the wheel of our bus.

Get a promise from Republicans and Trump to address the health care tax credits. Continue to disavow any idea that a single dollar will go to health care for illegal immigrants. We've been saying that; it's the law; just reiterate.

Get people food. Get federal workers back to work. If Republicans fail to keep their promise and fix the tax credit issue, deal with that down the road.

To me it looks like, the way things are going, Republicans will just let the government stay shut down. The tax credits will expire. Young people will drop Obamacare by the millions. And the Republicans will lie and say it's our fault. And at least half the country will believe it.

NPR had a piece this morning that had a thirty-something currently getting Obamacare who is now going to drop it. If the young folks drop it, it's gone. It's like we're telling Republicans that if they don't bend to our demands, we're going to let them wreck Obamacare, cut off SNAP recipients, lay off government workers, and eliminate programs in blue states. And they're saying, "Oh no! How awful!"

Republicans won’t do this if the government is reopened? This is their plan all along whether the government is open or not; eliminate all social safety net programs period.
