BREAKING: TRUMP ADMITS HE CANNOT RUN FOR A THIRD TERM- "I guess I'm not allowed to run. So, we'll see what happens,"

Well, I do not believe that Trump believes he has made enough money to not run.
But I also think that Trump is just plain tired of Being the President--it is toooooooo much work for him.

BREAKING: TRUMP ADMITS HE CANNOT RUN FOR A THIRD TERM-

"I guess I'm not allowed to run. So, we'll see what happens,” He told reporters on Air Force One today. “I would say that if you read it, it's pretty clear. I'm not allowed to run. It's too bad.”

as his successor. Vance isn't a shoo-in; nobody likes him much. Expect Vance to become even nastier and more mendacious, figuring that the MAGA base likes mean, stupid presidents - which is true, but Vance is too unfunny and creepy even to hang on to Goldsphincter's fan club. The rest of them will be clamoring to unseat Vance by currying Trump's favor in more and more extreme ways, and he'll love that. It will be almost as much fun for him as running for President, and a lot less work.

Did you just now read the Constitution for the first time, Mr. President of who knows what? Did you swear an oath about something you hadn't ever read? How is it that you think you're qualified to be the President of a constitutional republic if you have no knowledge of the Constitution? Answer me that, you bogus excuse for a national leader?

7. The 22nd Amendment is SPECIFIC, Donnie!

It reads.......NO person shall be elected to the Office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of the President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.

This is the opening of the 22nd Amendment states that Donald Trump is only allowed to serve 2- 4 year terms. Period, stop! He cannot run again in 2028, if he is still alive and the country as we know it is still viable.

The 22nd Amendment was ratified due to the 4 terms FDR was elected to. It was an extraordinary time when the United States was embroiled in a Great Depression and the onset of WWII. FDR was one of those rare leaders who knew how to lead.

The ONLY exception to the 22nd Amendment was in August of 1974 when then VP Gerald Ford assumed the office of the President after Richard Nixon resigned mid term. Ford ran for a full term in 1976 and was defeated by Jimmy Carter.

You said:

It doesnt say 'serve'.
It says 'elected':

No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.

Also, you are incorrect when you said this:

The ONLY exception to the 22nd Amendment was in August of 1974 when then VP Gerald Ford assumed the office of the President after Richard Nixon resigned mid term. Ford ran for a full term in 1976 and was defeated by Jimmy Carter.

That was not an exception, it followed the 22nd Amendment exactly.

Ford served as POFUS the last 2.5 years of Nixon's term. He ran on his own, as allowed, in 1976. There was no exception need. IF Ford had won he was THEN barred from running again. Because Ford lost in 1976, he could have run again in 1980.

Per the 22nd, IF Nixon had resigned 2 years or more into his 2nd term, then Ford could have legally been elected to 2 full four year terms on his own.

He never planned to “run”. He’s just going to cancel the presidential election with one of his executive orders and dare anyone to try to remove him.

Hopefully, it's finally dawning on him that this job is W.O.R.K., and he just doesn't want to put in that much effort. He coasted on his MAGA adoration during his first term, but this time, people are expecting more...time to make good on all those promises. Throw into that scenario the likelihood that his health is declining and his realization of such, and he's looking for a "benevolent" way to get out the door while still making it look that he's doing so only to please and satisfy the populace. He'll be spinning like a dreidel top to sell that story.

trumpie will never admit it's too much work for him or that he's bored or tired, sick or incapable. He'll have to play it as he's being ever so magnanimous and thinking only of the needs of the electorate and stepping aside for the benefit of others. MAGAs will call him a hero while the rest of us see through the BS and call him a lazy coward, as he so deserves.

Dear God, make it so. 🙏
