Prompts as simple as "[name] address" immediately returned accurate home addresses of private citizens â alongside other personal info we didn't ask for.

(372 posts)Addresses are bad enough. Link those to Facebook, Twitter, or whatever posts about things someone disagrees with and you've got a hit list machine. You don't even need to know the town or the people in it to find someone to hate. Heck, you can hate people who don't look like the people you normally hate and might miss your attention.
Giving everyone the ability to pay money to analyze all knowledge everywhere instantly is where it ultimately goes. Eventually access to only a poor A.I. with limited data will hobble people and block opportunity as much as having underfunded schools, slow internet and a dumb phone. It will be easy to get left behind in the crush of just about every person in society competing to stay relevant and informed.
