If the Democrats ever regain both houses of Congress by a wide margin

Could Thomas and Kavanaugh be impeached as an alternative to add new justices to the Supreme Court? While I would prefer adding justices, I'm not sure most Americans do.

There are ample grounds for impeaching both Thomas and Kavanaugh.

There is more on Roberts' wife as well. Certainly more on all three than when Nixon forced Justice Fortas to resign. Personally, I say expand the court AND get rid of those three. As for support from "most Americans", one third won't support the Democratic party no matter what they do. And one third don't really care, or won't even know. But pretty much the same goes for Republicans (although probably twenty percent of Democratic voters will try to twist themselves into pretzels to give non-maga Republicans the benefit of the doubt). And the Republicans don't let the fact that there is no support from "most Americans" stop them from doing what they want.

probably 70+ seats because there always seems to be a few Fetterman types that can't be counted on

Joe Lieberman cost us the public option on the ACA. We suffer with that to this day.

As will most of us, probably. I don't see us getting that kind of majority any time soon.
