French Police Raid Elon Musk "X" HQ

Tue 3 Feb 2026 06.42 EST

Prosecutors have raided the French headquarters of Elon Musk’s social media platform X and summoned the tech billionaire and the company’s former chief executive for questioning as part of an investigation into alleged cybercrime.

“A search is under way by the cybercrime unit of the Paris prosecutor’s office, the national police cyber unit and Europol,” the Paris prosecutors’ office said in a post on X on Tuesday, adding that it would no longer be publishing on the network.

It added in a statement that Musk and Linda Yaccarino had been summoned for voluntary questioning “in their capacity as de facto and de jure managers of the X platform at the time of the events”. Yaccarino resigned as CEO of X in July last year.

The prosecutor’s office said it was examining “alleged complicity” in offences related to the platform, including the spreading of child abuse images and sexually explicit deepfakes, the denial of crimes against humanity and manipulation

I hope Europol nails the bastard to the wall. Can't wait to see how his current squeeze, Mrs. Stephen Miller, is involved...

His refusal to do anything about the AI child porn on his shitty platform is all starting to make sense...

The poor get the death penalty….quite a difference. I first noticed that with Gerald Ford’s pardon of Nixon.

...I'm no cheap, crooked politician, trying to save himself from the consequences of his crimes. [louder] Gettys. I'm going to send you to Sing Sing. Sing Sing Gettys. Sing Sing."

~From Citizen Kane by Orson Wells

Not that I want the stock market to crash but... I wonder if that wouldn't cut some of these oligarch bastards down to size. Isn't eloon's wealth primarily in shares?

At any rate, they probably all need to be sent to Sing Sing. Maybe some of them would turn on each other, rat out the rest and give us something like a control/ alt/ delete reset. And maybe a little feeling of power over pain.
