What a discovery!
I remember when I lived in Brooklyn hearing about some discovered (obviously) secret hiding spots in homes for the Underground Railroad.

Family legend had it that my husband's aunt and uncle's house in Franklin, VA was part of the Underground Railroad, but I don't think there's any proof, as it were.
