I think Trump and his administration lowered the inflation numbers. Food costs are much higher than 2.8.

The so called Consumer Price Index was doctored by Reagan to NOT include many things that WERE included, and add other things that aren't even worth measuring......THAT is how Republicans deal with statistics and un-tidy figures.......

just since January 2025. I have a DAMNED good memory for prices. I have no idea what metrics those idiots use, but it doesn't match reality.

7. Looking at the graph, there was a big increase in 2022 (which happened globally).

But in 23 & 24, the graph shows prices were close to flat. Then there is a clear increase in the slope of the graph beginning in 2025 (indicating inflation in this category has definitely increased under Trump)..
