I know that Castilian Spanish (Old World Spanish) is different than Latin American Spanish. I was wondering if the word "pendejo" had an equivalent in Old World Spanish. Now I know - pandejo! Spain's two big money sources are agriculture and tourism. All Europe buys Spanish agricultural products, and most of Europe loves going to Spain for vacation. I was just down there last week, and will be spending most of next week there as well. They really wouldn't/don't miss us.

I always enjoy the Parc Güell when I have the time, but will be staying down near the cathedral off the Via Laietana. However it’s an easy bus ride downtown if she has the time. If it’s Saturday or Sunday, she can even be one of the few that have ever met my wife. My wife almost never comes with me on work-related travel, but for special places (and if I can stay an extra day or two), she will come. Berlin, New York and Barcelona are three such places.
