The exiled Iranian Prince Reza Pahlavi is set to appear at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Texas later this month, the group announced on Tuesday.
Pahlavi has pitched himself as an interim leader for the country after Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed Saturday during joint U.S.-Israeli strikes on the country.
During an interview with Fox Newss Maria Bartiromo on Sunday, the exiled prince emphasized the need for a very strong, stable transition in the country and commended Operation Epic Furys full decapitation of the regime.
We, as Iranians, look at America as our best partner in reconstructing ourselves, Pahlavi said. You know, the president says, MAGA, we say, MIGA, Make Iran Great Again.

(113,552 posts)be considered as even a interim leader in Tehran (something I think Trump et all are arrogantly and ignorantly thinking they can make happen), but now I really don't want anything to do with the son.
Those who think he would automatically be better than the Ayatollahs--well, I would tentatively agree, but the fact is the autocracy is deeply entrenched. He has not a chance in hell unless something really dramatically changes that I do not foresee (nor did I a week ago before all this started).

2. Talk about putting a terror target on that event.
