Sane states would reject Paxton in a heart beat in the general.

Texas isn’t a sane state. It very well could go with Paxton. I hate both but I really really hate Paxton and fear my state could vote for him in the general.

After getting Trump we should prefer the less crazy Republican . In fact there is a chance that some right wing might just not vote because they are angry at the Republican .

I don't think The Democratic candidate has a better chance against Paxton than Cornyn in Texas . I think the chance for the Democratic candidate is about the same. But if we lose it's better to have that one shitty Republican over the other shitty REpublican.
