https://zeteo.com/p/donald-trump-pyongyangSince the start of his new presidency, Trump has privately asked multiple times about how to get his face up there on Mt. Rushmore, crowing to close allies how he is a more accomplished president than some of those faces on the memorial, according to people familiar with the matter. Sources close to the president have told Zeteo that on separate occasions over the past year, Trump has talked to longtime advisers about what it would take to officially make his birthday a national, federal holiday. Similarly, he has already repeatedly inquired about getting a Donald Trump-shaped monument built in our nations capital, and mentioned that he wants final approval on the size, look, location, content, and design of the statue and memorial.
Its tax season so if you want to know where your hard-earned money is going, heres one thing to keep in mind. At Zeteo, we ran the numbers, and during his first few months back in office, the Trump administration and the Republican Party marshaled upwards of $1 billion in public funds towards projects and initiatives specifically designed to make Donald Trump feel good about himself. Thats right: thats a Billion with a B in US tax dollars.

Sources inside and close to the Trump-Vance administration tell Zeteo that the president repeatedly asks about myriad different things in and outside of DC that his allies could work to get his name or face on. Buildings, parks, airports, military bases, US battleships, highways, and city streets and squares you name it, President Trump has likely schemed to slap his face and name all over it. He does this often enough that in some corners of the federal government, it has become a running joke in private conversations to just start adding his name to, well, everything: The Donald J. Trump National Portrait Gallery. The Donald Trump Washington Union Station. The Donald Trump Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. Im headed down to the Donald J. Trump Whole Foods Market, theyd quip.

Get rid of the tacky gold crap in the Oval office.
Tear down the ballroom and rebuild the East Wing.
Leave his portrait on the wall, but turn it backwards or drape it in black.
Establish a national holiday to celebrate by burning him in efigy.

(62,249 posts)There once was a world sans AI,
and standards were set truly high.
To write from the heart,
and do your own art,
and not let your talent just die.
For muscles not used turn to mush,
and no one needs chatbots to rush
what they want to say.
Thought requires delay.
AI gives you slop you should flush.
The problem is asking a bot.
Ideas are easily caught,
You make them your own.
Your own skills you hone.
It's easy. Just give it a shot!
Still hoping you'll write limericks yourself instead of using AI...
I have an English teacher in the family and have had lots of English-teacher friends. I think writing should be encouraged. It's too important an ability to turn over to a bot. What a bot produces from datasets of other people's stolen work can never be yours.

(12,080 posts)Be like when Saddam's statue came down. EVERYTHING WILL BE REMOVED. All that gawdy gold will be melted down, all those trump banners will be torn down. Everything he put his name on will be changed back to what it was ( except maybe that airport in Florida). But he's just the laughing stock right now. He's also defaming the White House. It wasn't supposed to be a house of excessive wealth, he doesn't understand that.
