Trump approval now at 33% (Mass Amherst poll).

New polling shared exclusively with Zeteo demonstrates just how delusional our president really is: Only 33% of Americans approve of the job he is doing, and 62% disapprove, according to the UMass Amherst national poll. This figure may well represent the worst approval rating of Trump’s political career.

-SNIP

The UMass poll finds broad opposition to Trump’s illegal and dangerous war in Iran: 29% say they approve of Trump’s military actions against Iran, while 54% disapprove.

- SNIP

Outside of the war, which could get much worse at any moment, Trump’s approval on key issues ranges from bad to catastrophic: 24% say Trump has handled inflation well, 28% say he’s handled tariffs well, and 22% believe the president has done a good job handling the release of information concerning his former friend Jeffrey Epstein, the world’s most famous pedophile.

According to the UMass poll, 59% of Americans agree with the following statement: “The Trump administration is hiding important information about the Epstein case.” And 50% of Americans believe Trump’s attacks on Iran are meant to distract from the Epstein files, while 30% disagree. Those figures mirror the findings of a recent Data for Progress poll conducted on behalf of Drop Site News and Zeteo.

Nteta notes that immigration – Trump’s signature issue – has “quickly become one of the president’s most pressing vulnerabilities.” Only 35% say he’s handled immigration well, and 60% say he hasn’t.

regardless of what new disaster he creates, or how badly he mismanages an actual ongoing one.

But a consistent 30% approval rating going into midterms would still be a really bad, the cult be damned.

who insist that the current fiasco in the Middle East is Biden's fault, and that regardless of how bad things turn out in Iran it would have been worse if either Harris or Hillary (they always say "Hillary!" like a cuss word) were running it.

Part of the solid 30 percent dead ender base that will continue to be a drag on our Democracy for years to come, I am afraid.

is being handled well, I would think that is the core issue for his most solid base (hate, fear, and "economic uncertainty" is what they got). Clearly his immigration policies have harmed an awful lot of small and not-so-small businesses, divided communities, and made us look horrible to the rest of the world. But the base hangs on to his promise of making America as white as possible again.

That’s what it comes down to. They’ll accept anything from the regime, as long as they have faith that darker-skinned people are having it even worse.

...3 of them will say they love it for whatever demented reason they have--weight loss, the suffering of their mother-in-law, no school for a week, etc.

Even nuclear winter probably polls at 30% because dude, the snowboarding will be epic!

Yes, we are collectively that dumb and self-centered unfortunately.

I think he is getting pretty close to the natural polling floor that seems to exist for any issue--and we should view that as a good thing regardless--unsatisfying yes; but good nonetheless.

Just shows how many people were bamboozled. We always knew 1/4 to 1/3 of the country are brain dead MAGA, they are lost causes. But he won by bamboozling another 15-20% of the voters, people who got taken in by propaganda, people who didn't remember the disaster of this first term. Those people are finding out right now and there's not a lot they can do about it. These are the people who need to be mobilized.

The survey of 1,000 adults found that 7% of Americans believed that chocolate milk came from brown cows, which translates to roughly 16 to 17 million people.

Key Details About the Finding:
Survey Context: The survey was conducted by a dairy industry group..
Extent of Misconception: In addition to the 7% who said it came from brown cows, nearly 48% of participants didn't know where chocolate milk came from.

Probably the same thoughts toward Donald Trump.

the people who still support him has gone so far up. They are all over social media (local Facebook) I keep an account for communication with a few relatives I don't want to talk to on the phone and for reading our town FB pages which often have information on stuff we might need to know about....like how Highway 30 is after the sleet, snow, ice, etc.

But, the MAGAt true believers are in a frenzy these days, multiple posts a day about how wonderful he is and how things are better than ever....real "I'm trying to convince myself that reality isn't real". They state that gas prices are the lowest they've ever been, that we're winning wars all over the world.

The most devoted MAGAts are losing their shit, because they don't know how to deal with the fact that he is actively harming them.

He can wreck everything and not pay a price at all.
Polls like this are ridiculous; we don't have a parliamentary system.
