Libraries are essential.
The librarian of Rutherford County, TN library was terminated today because she refused to move multiple books from the children's section to the adult section. The largest town in the county is Murfreesboro, it is south of Nashville.
Also, my dear friend who is on the library board of another TN county, came to join me at the NOKINGS walk Saturday. She knew if she attended the ones in her county she would lose her seat on the board. She wants to continue the fight.
I believe my late mother who was both a school and public librarian would be proud.
