had to do with Kidney issues.
Yes, persistent puffiness under the eyes (periorbital edema) can be an early sign of kidney problems. It happens when damaged kidneys leak protein into your urine instead of keeping it in the blood. Without enough protein, fluid shifts from your blood into your body tissues, causing swelling.
