A portrait of incredible courage.

John Cornyn has already endorsed Ken Paxton in the November midterm election, the man he called fundamentally corrupt and immoral throughout the primaries.

"My primary opponent is a corrupt adulterer who coddles child rapists, but I'm endorsing him in the general election anyhow." Soon-to-be-former Senator Cornyn, you have cojones the size of raisins. But thanks for those vicious attack ads, John; not sure how you can take those back even though the GOP has tried to delete them today. But the Internet never forgets, and they're still out there.

2. Cornyn is 74, he could have easily walked away without humiliating himself. His endorsement is worthless.

Obviously Cornyn did not believe his own ads. Paxton should sue him for slander and to rub salt into the wound that comes from a 28 point loss.

3. Truth is an absolute defense to slander. Everything Cornyn said about Paxton was true.

He was indicted for fraud; he cheated on his wife; he was impeached by his own party; and he let off the molester of a little boy with a one-day jail sentence.

4. I know it was all true but what kind of a person turns on a dime and makes the endorsement not even 24 hours later?

5. A John Cornyn kind of person. He's not as sleazy as Paxton but he's still a snake.

I have absolutely no way of knowing.

However, if someone were to ask me, "nothing" is not even in my top 50 possible answers.
