After Months of War, Trump Says Iran Has Right to Nuclear Program (I'm not making this up)

https://newrepublic.com/post/212003/trump-iran-right-nuclear-program

Trump now says it’s just “common sense” for Iran to have a nuclear program.

President Trump said Wednesday that Iran could have its own nuclear program.

“It is a little hard that when you say that somebody wants it, other people have it, other adjoining states have it, and you’re not letting them have it for purposes of electricity and things like that. It’s always a little tough. You have to use a little common sense,” Trump said at the G7 summit in France, alongside Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick.

It seems to be a sharp departure from Trump’s previous claims during the war. After months of insisting that the purpose of the war was to get rid of any nuclear capability, demanding “zero enrichment,” Trump is now saying that the country can use nuclear power for electricity.

One wonders what Republicans in Congress—let alone the international community—will think of Trump’s latest concession. If a final peace deal between Iran and the U.S. doesn’t have any restrictions on the country’s nuclear program, it will be effectively worse than the 2015 JCPOA agreement with Iran.

He's on Crack.

Well, I've said to them always, I say, look, you have probably the third largest oil reserves in the world, what the hell do you need nuclear for? You need nuclear for some electricity. So -- so I've always felt that way so we've been pretty tough on that. You know, it's also -- it is a little hard though when you say that somebody wants it, other people have it, other adjoining states have it, and you're not letting them have it for purposes of electricity and things like that. It's always a little tough. You have to use a little common sense.

....all the way here VT. And for once, more than rightly so. What's next, Donnie, you demented old fool? Israel has nukes so there's no reason Iran can't.

Perhaps Iran said complete denuclearization was a no go. Take it out or we close the straight. Trump said, that wasn't the deal!!! Tehran replied, the deal has changed. Pray we don't change it again.

Israel is really getting the short end. Much of it deserved but I agree with them on a nuclear capable Iran, civilian or otherwise. Iran has a couple of decades of enrichment expertise and ballistic missile capabilities only surpassed by the US, Russia and China. They could build and deliver nukes if the wanted to, agreement or no agreement and the last 4 months gives them more than ample reason to take out the nuclear insurance policy against regime change.

Let's think this out.

Who the hell would launch (or deliver) a nuclear weapon?

Hitler? Yes.
Harry S. Truman? Yes, twice.
Kruschev? No.
Trump? No, he's "solid" chickenshit.
IRG? Perhaps.
Netanyahu? 100% sure, if given the chance.
Putin? No, he's about as strong as wet cardboard, and soon to go.

Real risk, in my opinion? (this morning)
50% ... Netanyahu's Israel and Iran. Bibi gets Trump to push a button in his stupor,

or just pushes his own.

50% ... Small-scale incidents like blowing up nuclear reactors, tactical nukes, or just smuggled "dirty" material.

This is all uninformed by any actual intel.

All that money, death and destruction heaped on Iran for no good reason and just because Donald wanted to.

Also wasted: all those decades of American sourced propaganda, that the Iranian way of doing government, business, language and religion are so inferior to the US versions, that they are beyond contempt, just wasted!

Once they have nukes, America had better sing a different propaganda tune.

Trump thinks . . . what next disaster can I cause?
Of course his diseased mind won't use the word 'disaster'.
