7. Congress hasn't ratified the "deal"

Without ratification, no taxpayer money will flow to Iran.

A number of republicans have pushed back against the costs, which would seem to be the opposite of complicity- we will see if their spines hold out.

So, this deal is far from a done deal.

What republicans are complicit in is allowing the war to happen in the first place.
