Should Democrats make the "ballroom" an issue in the next election?

According to the polls I have seen, it is a very unpopular issue.

Also, should the voters be reminded that the Republicans permitted Trump to tear down the entire East Wing of the White House, dug up the Rose Garden of Jackie Kennedy because the high heels of the rich Republican women kept getting stuck in the grass, and made the Reflection Pool a bright green?

Are these the types of issues that stick with voters?

And then put out the plan and ideas to make the case for how it’s best to fix the problems

Connect healthcare and economic issues to these vanity projects of Trump and the Republicans. Kill two birds with one stone, so to speak.

9. Not directly. It should be phrased as the destruction of OUR House by Rs without mention of the ballroom. nt

Of course, who knows if it'd work anymore. It'd probably need someone with a Colbert style of wit in Congress.

**The Gold Spoon Oration is the name given to all three days worth of speeches...the one that really hurt Van Buren was the first day's:
Day 1 The Regal Splendor of the President’s Palace
Day 2 Pretended Democracy of Martin Van Buren
Day 3 The Character and Services of General William Henry Harrison

11. Every Dem should pick a local infrastructure project that needs doing

and run an ad showing how it could be done with a mere fraction of the money needed for Trump's ballroom.

School sidewalk. Bridge repair and painting. New traffic lights. Show how long a $1 million dollar fund would support drainage and maintenance of local sports fields. Whatever. One local infrastructure project that isn't getting done because it's too expensive compared to Trump's Ballroom. A new fleet of disability-ready minivans to bring elderly people to activities. Trump's Ballroom. A new entrance ramp to the hospital from Elm Street. Trump's Ballroom. A fund to assist with septic tank cleaning and repair for rural homes and businesses. Trump's Ballroom.

Nonstop. Make it a debate point every time. Nonstop. Compare a needed infrastructure project to Trump's Ballroom.
