Decatur City Councilman Hunter Pepper announces re-election campaign
DECATUR, Ala. — Hunter Pepper has officially announced his candidacy for re-election to the Decatur City Council, representing District 4 in the upcoming August 26, 2025, municipal election.
Pepper, who made history as the youngest councilman ever elected in Decatur and across the state, said serving the city over the last term has been one of the most rewarding experiences of his life.
“Serving as your elected official not just for district 4 but the entire city has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. and it has taught me invaluable lessons about leadership. resilience, and the strength of our community.”
Looking ahead, Pepper says he plans to focus on continued growth in both residential and business areas, expand youth programs, and improve quality of life across Decatur.
