Ryan Harry secures election to District 2, Place 3 on Harpersville Town Council
HARPERSVILLE – Candidate Ryan Harry will serve District 2, Place 3 on the Harpersville Town Council after successfully securing election during the 2025 Municipal Election runoff.
During the runoff on Tuesday, Sept. 23, Harry received 120 votes at approximately 53 percent of the vote, while candidate Starla “Star” Jones received 107 votes at 47 percent.
“I’m just looking forward to getting started with the city and getting to work,” Harry said after the results came in. “I want to thank voters and supporters who came out. Starla ran a great campaign, and it was very close.”
Harry shared that a major aspect of why he ran for office was finding the right balance for good growth in the town of Harpersville.
