The Alabama Republican Party is celebrating the fact that every candidate supported under the Partys new municipal program won their race in this weeks runoff elections.
Included in the victories was the Mobile mayoral race, where long-time Democrat State Representative Barbara Drummondendorsed by Vice President Kamala Harris and Senator Raphael Warnockwas defeated by former Republican District Judge Spiro Cheriogotis.
The Alabama Republican Party was proud to stand behind our conservative candidates in these municipal runoffs, ALGOP Chair John Wahl said.
Voters deserved to know the facts about every candidate and where they stood on the issues. We are not shy about fighting for good policy and strong conservative principleswhether its in Washington, Montgomery, or at City Hall. When theres a race with a clear Republican and a clear Democrat, the Alabama GOP will always stand with our Republican candidate.

(2,672 posts)I don't give a crap if Dems ever win ALA again. If we have elections and win. cut off all money to red controlled governments there. If we have Blue in that state, just help them.

(17,834 posts)On the left, you have just a bunch of keyboard warriors who would not bother to show up to a local city council or school district. I include myself in this since I am on DU preaching to the choir complaining about Democrats not doing enough to inspire me to get off my keyboard and talk to people in real life. Oh well, perhaps I will double down and blame the establishment in another post on this forum, rather than actually to someone who might disagree with me in RL, because that is scary.
