April 19th Hands Off! Protests are still being organized

If you have been trying to get current info for the planned April 19th Hands Off protests be patient. The organizers have a lot to plan on very short notice. Over 1,400 Hands Off protests with 5.2 million protesters was a big success but it needs to continue if the goal/mission is to be realized.

Hands Off's goal is to continue to show the tRump administration that we are VERY ANGRY regarding many of the actions by tRump and Elon and the GOP liars/ass kissers.

The mission of the 50501 group is to keep constant pressure on this admin and we can do this if we continually protest in both large and small local protests. This will be a long fight but we can win if we are patient and consistent. Hang in there! David Pakman said the same thing a week ago on his show....

The US is in the process of being destroyed permanently. This is a fact. The majority of GOP voters are finally saying ENOUGH!!! Enough with taking away seniors' Social Security and health care. Yes, they are GOP to the bone but when you take their precious SS and health care away they finally grow a spine...for their own, selfish needs and not for issues like gun control and access to abortions. Oh well, at least they are finally finding something terrible about the POTUS that they voted for TWICE! Older but wiser does NOT apply to this group of senior GOP constituents. They are only interested in themselves, as usual.

So hang in there, be patient and we will let you know what the current plans are for April 19th and the next 4 years of protests. Hopefully the continued success of these large protests will have an impact before 2028, unless we all get our wish before that date and he strokes out on live TV. There will be parties in the streets around the world if that were to happen!

Great interview with AZ Attorney General Kris Mayes. One thing she talks about is the 3 C's. Crowds matter. A lot.

"Nonviolent protests are twice as likely to succeed as armed conflicts – and those engaging a threshold of 3.5% of the population have never failed to bring about change."

with a single GOP person trying to start a fight out of 5.2 million protesters. THAT SAYS A LOT! No violence at all! We Dems know how to protest successfully.

4. 3.5% equals about 11 million. We had nearly half that

On the 5th of April. Which was a cold and rainy day. I think we'll get 11 Million on the 19th.

is that it calls for SUSTAINED protests. That means being out on the streets for more than an afternoon. Think Occupy style encampments. I'm not sure people are quite ready for that.

Any disparagement of GOP seniors is just that: disparagement of GOP seniors, not seniors as a group.

Could this have been worded more tactfully? Sure. Should any Democrats who are seniors feel disparaged by this? Well, I'm a Democrat and a senior (age: 75), and I don't feel disparaged by it in the least.
