Magnitude 3.5 earthquake hits near Julian: USGS (San Diego) Actually 5.1

A magnitude 3.5 earthquake was reported at 3:54 p.m. in San Diego County Sunday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The earthquake was centered 2.9 miles south of Julian, 11.1 miles east of San Diego Country Estates and 15.8 miles east of Ramona.

It was about 8 miles deep. There were no reports of injuries or damage.

Just had a big earthquake in San Diego.

It was a big jolt with a little swaying.
