Russian has launched a massive drone attack on Ukraine's second-largest city, the mayor of Kharkiv has said, killing at least three and injuring a further 40.

Ihor Terekhov said that overnight Russia launched 48 drones, two missiles and four gliding bombs in an attack he described as "open terror".

It comes after a massive wave of drones and missiles struck across Ukraine on Thursday night. Moscow said the strikes were in response to "terrorist attacks by the Kyiv regime", following Ukraine's surprise raids on Russian air bases last Sunday.

Meanwhile, Russian and Ukrainian officials released conflicting accounts about when a prisoner swap agreed at earlier talks will take place.

There is only one madman here, Putin. The "big guys" in Ukraine are it's people. If they didn't want to fight back this war would've ended years ago. They are fighting for their lives. They will be slaughtered if Russia moves across that poor nation unimpeded. This isn't us in Vietnam. I 100% support Ukraine or any free loving people who have to fight off a blood thirsty tyrannical neighbor.

injured, or killed while Ukrainian civilians, and cities have suffered greatly !

Ukrainians attack troops, weapons depots, aircrafts, tanks etc.

The war will end when Putin gets the hell out, Ukraine (life forbid) gets totally over run, or if the majority of Ukrainians change their minds about fighting. Russian wants to keep some of the good countryside. Hell no!
Putin wants to erase Ukrainian culture. Fuck that!
