Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Tuesday defended the deployment of National Guardsmen and Marines to Los Angeles amid objections from Democrats about their domestic deployment.

Protests continue in Los Angeles and other cities across the country in response to Trump's immigration crackdown.

Trump and Hegseth are making a trip to Fort Bragg to celebrate the Army's 250th birthday. Meanwhile, tanks and other equipment have arrived in Washington ahead of this weekend's military parade.............................
