It was right across the Boardwalk from Steel Pier (and had a skywalk connected to it too)
One of my sisters got a Group-On coupon for something cheap - like $60/night for a weekend in an ocean-front room with her daughter, when that place was going through bankruptcy and was eventually bought out by Carl Icahn. 
It's now a Hard Rock Cafe/Casino
