Trump’s best quality was he was against “Forever Wars.” He lied.
Friday night, in the middle of the night, President Trump recorded a “thing” on Truth Social declaring War on Iran. Think about that. The President of the United States unilaterally declared war on social media. That’s unheard of. Unprecedented. Declaring War is not something a President should do in an informal, casual, social media post. (It should never happen again.)
It began like this, “A short time ago, the U.S. military began major combat operations in Iran.
Maybe the president enjoys toppling governments to distract from the Epstein files. Maybe he simply views the military as his plaything. Maybe longstanding strategic alliances with Israel and Sunni Gulf states, including Saudi Arabia, played a role. Some even raise the possibility of personal incentives or external pressure.
