A Lithuanian article on Trump appointments for NASA administrator, Nov 5, 2025

D. Trump Appoints American Who Unfurled Lithuanian Flag in Space as NASA Administrator

President Donald Trump announced Tuesday that he has decided to nominate Jared Isaacman to be NASA administrator — months after withdrawing the tech billionaire's nomination over concerns about his political views.

In late May, Trump announced that he had decided to withdraw Isaacman’s nomination after “a thorough review of his past connections.” In the weeks since the withdrawal, Trump has further expressed concerns about Isaacman’s Republican leanings. At the time, Trump admitted that he thought Isaacman “was a very good guy” but was “surprised to learn” that he was a “purebred Democrat who has never supported a Republican before.” Isaacman was endorsed by Trump’s former DOGE advisor and tech entrepreneur Elon Musk. The US president and Musk had a public falling out earlier this year, but their relationship has now improved.

If it wasn’t for Hitler, then what? Nearly an antique drama that took place at the end of World War II
