on Wednesday, two senators and four representatives — all of them Democrats, and all of them veterans — released a video in which they reminded members of the military that they have a sworn Constitutional duty to disobey illegal orders.

as I pointed out yesterday, the only thing remarkable about that statement is that it needed to be said at all.

let’s just pause to consider how surreal this moment we’re living in is, where elected officials need to remind soldiers that when the president orders them to open fire on civilians in a US city, that shit’s a Bozo no-no.

nonetheless, on Thursday, our rage-baby president completely lost his fucking mind, power-loaded an endless series of diapers, and called for the executions of everyone involved.
