Kiefer reacts to town's mention in Epstein investigation files
KIEFER, OKLA (KTUL) Newly released federal documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein investigation have unexpectedly drawn attention to the small town of Kiefer, located about 25 minutes south of Tulsa.
The files, which include heavy redactions and limited context, reference a claim involving a decades-old murder. However, federal officials caution that some information in the release is unverified or incomplete.

"We were made aware the towns name was mentioned, but we have no indication that anything happened here," O'Mara said. He added that the redactions make it difficult to draw any conclusions, stating, "With all the redactions, theres nothing to base anything its hard for me to even base a question on it."

NewsChannel 8 has reached out to the medical examiners office for any records from that time period and is awaiting a response.

(And here I'd thought that the driver whose story I'd read about was actually presented by the driver involved and not hearsay ... It does help explain my confusion where suddenly the narrative's cohesion broke down and I assumed it was due to a poor transcription or bad note taking by the FBI agent. I should have found the original doc instead of relying on the lengthy but still incomplete excerpt.)
