Israeli strikes hit Gaza-Egypt border crossing - FRANCE 24

Gaza's sole border crossing with Egypt, the only entry point not controlled by Israel, was shut down on Tuesday after being hit by Israeli air strikes. Eduard Cousin, France 24's correspondent in Egypt's Alexandria, has the details.

That border was decorative instead of useful to Palestinians. I really don’t understand why Egypt isn’t getting any pressure whatsoever for not taking Palestinians even temporarily.

They don't seem to have anywhere else to go. So many dead on both sides. A sad, sad situation. Wish there was something that could be done to fix it once and for all.
